Chris practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and bankruptcy. For instance, in the area of litigation, Chris represents individuals and small businesses in contract and lease disputes, employment matters, foreclosure defense, and creditor’s rights, among other things. In the area of bankruptcy, Chris represents creditors as well as small businesses and individual debtors in chapter 7, 13, and 11 bankruptcy cases, including related preference, fraudulent transfer, and discharge litigation. Chris also counsels clients on the use of non-bankruptcy options to restructure debt.
Chris started his legal career in Chicago at the law firm of DiMonte & Lizak and then had tenures at two national law firms, practicing in Chicago & Washington D.C.
